DON'T WORRY, BE TAPPY:
SENIOR CITIZEN AND COMMUNITY OUTREACH
As part of my Don't Worry, Be Tappy initiative, I researched and developed an engaging, hour-long multimedia presentation on the history and evolution of tap dance, tailored specifically for senior citizen groups. The presentation seamlessly integrates historical context with cultural insights, enriched by captivating video clips that illustrate the dance’s impact from the earliest recorded performances, through the Golden Age of Tap, to present day. Following the informative program, I lead an interactive session where participants learn and practice basic tap dance moves (even while seated), creating a dynamic and immersive experience that connects history with hands-on engagement.
